Perioperative nursing for over aged patients and its security management

Objective To study the perioperative nursing for over aged patients and its security management. Methods Security in peri-operation was ensured by participating in case discussion before operation to get the first hand message of the patients,by preparing operation instruments,by establishing good relations between nurses and patients through interview and communication,by careful cooperating during operation,and patient nursing for the patients. Results The 326 patients over the age of 80 years successfully tided over their perioperative period because of the perioperative nursing for them and its security management. Conclusion Attending case discussion and interview before operation,visiting patients,careful and patient nursing during operation can promote the successful recovery of over aged patients after operation.
