Expression of CD147 in endometriosis

Objective: To evaluate the expression and localization of CD147 in endometriosis.Methods: The expression of CD147 protein on paraffin embeded tissues was determined by immunohistochemical analysis endometriotic tissues （n=30） and matched eutopic endometria（n=18） of patients with endometriosis and eutopic endometria of normal menstruating women without endometriosis（n=15）.Results: Endometriotic tissues showed statisticaly stronger staining compared with eutopic endometria（P＜0 05）.Conclusion: Compared to eutopic endometrium,ectopic endometrium has a higher capacity to produce CD147
