Abstract
Objective To study the input mode of human-computer interaction in simulated hip surgery. Methods The input mode of human-computer interaction was designed according to the field programmable gate array(FPGA).Infrared ray foci were collected with a complementary metal-oxide semiconductor(CMOS).The gestures of users were translated into operation instructions by collecting and identifying images, and by serial communicating and analyzing of their gestures. Finally, the gestures were input into the operation simulation system. The procedure was manipulated using the mouse bar instead of hands during the operation. Results FPGA-based human-computer interaction was achieved in simulated hip surgery. Conclusion FPGA-based human-computer interaction can be achieved in simulated hip surgery by manipulating the operation simulation system with gestures.
