Diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary alveolar proteinosis with bronchoalveolarlavage report of a case

A case of pulmonary alvenlar proteinosis was reported.A presumptive diagnosis was made on the basis of clinical,pulmonary functional and radiographic findings.The diagnoxis was confirmed by the patho-logical examination of bronchoalveolar lavage fluid.PAS stain was positive,Clinical evaluation of bron-choalveolar lavage was discussed.Pulmonary function and arterial oxygen pressure（PaO2）showed an incre-ment.On chest X-ray films pulmonary shadow was essentially absorbed.Clinically,the patient improved ap-parently,The pressent case illastrates that repeated bronchoalvcolar lavage is an effetive and safe therapeutic
