Abstract
Objective To study the correlation between gender and age of gastric cancer patients, clinical TNM stage, chemotherapy, lost goodwill target(LGT) protein fingerprints and prognosis of gastric cancer patients after operation. Methods One hundred and twenty-five patients with gastric adenocardnoma admitted to our hospital in June 2008-June 2009 were enrolled in this study.Effect of their gender, age,TNM stage, chemotherapy, and LGT protein fingerprints on their survival time after operation was analyzed by single and multiple variable analyses. Results Single factor analysis showed that TNM stage, peak types and abundance of LGT protein fingerprints were the significant prognostic factors of the survival time of gastric cancer patients after operation.Multiple factor analysis showed that TNM stage, abundance and peak types of LGT protein fingerprints were the independent factors for the survival time of gastric cancer patients after operation in Cox ratio risk regression model. Conclusion TNM stage, abundance and peak types of LGT are the independent prognostic factors for the survival time of gastric cancer patients after operation.
