An Observation on the Changes of Serum Calcium, 25-OH-Vit D₃ and BGP Levels in Pregnant Womee

The change of calcium, 25-OH-Vit D₃ and BPG levels in pregnant women were observed and compared with a control group. The results showed that serum calcium, 25-OH-Vit D₃ and BPG levels decreased in gravidas, especially in late gestation period and in winter. The observation suggests that a close watch on serum levels and timely supplement of calcium and Vit D₃ may be necessary for maternal health and foetus development.
