A succesfully treated and saved case associated with millary buberculosis

A case of adult respiratory distress syndrome （ARDS） caused by millary tuberculosis was reported, which was clearly diagnosed in the light of clinical manifestations, chest roentgenograms, blood gas analyses and superficial lymph node and liver biopsies. It was proved that the prognosis would markedly be improved if the patient was diagnosed early and treated timely with the combined therapy of antituberculotic drugs. However, both supportive and symptomatic therapies were also very important during the early stage of treatment.
