Abstract
Twenty-three cases out of 103(23.3%) of leukemia complicated by acute infectious diseases were reported. Among which vival diseases were commoner than bacterial ones(3:1). There was no difference in the complication rate between the cases in complete remission and those not remitted. The height and the duration of fever in cases complicated by chickenpox were higher more marked than in these of simple chickenpox(P<0.01).The differences of rash in two groups behaved as above. The survival period was longer in the group of leukemia patients with complication of type B hepatiiis than the control group(P<0.01). Only one case died of septicemia caused by Tennessee's Salmonella.
