Comparison of effects of peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis on aged CRF patients

We have treated 18 senile （＞60 years） cases of chronic renal failure （CRF） with dialysis, including 9 cases aged undergoing hemodialysis （HD） and 11 cases undergoing peritoneal dialysis （PD） compared. The effects of HD and PD on senile GRF patients were compared. As the results HD appears to be a good way in the treatment of these without cardiovascular diseases, while PD is the first choice when the patients suffered from cardiovascular diseases.
