Clinical analysis to giant cell tumor of tendon sheath of 35 cases after follow-up

Objective:To study the recurrent causes of giant cell tumor of tendon sheath after operation.Methods:After retrospective analysis to data of 35 cases during July 1993 to July 2005 and follow up,clinical and pathological features were concluded.Furthermore statistical multiplicity was analyzed to study the recurrent causes.Results:The recurrence had nothing to do with the patient's sex,age,period of disease,integrality of outer membrane of tumor,osteoclasia,pathological category,activity of tumor.Conclusions:Complete resection of the tumor is optimal method to decrease the recurrence after operation.
