Chancriform pyoderma: A case report

Chancriform pyoderma, a chancre-like lesion occurring on face or genitals of children or adults, is rarely encountered in clinical practice. We report a 45-year old male patient who complained of discomfort and repeated ulcer of his glans penis and foreskin for more than two months. He was diagnosed as chancriform pyoderma according to the clinical symptoms, bacterial culture and pathology. After treatment with penicillin and prednisone for two weeks, the ulcer was gradually healed. Bacterial culture of his secretion was Acinetobacter junii, which deserves attention of clinicians.
