Surgical Treatment of Early Bronchogenic Carcinoma

135 cases of early bronchogenic carcinoma （T₁ No Mo） out of 864 patients operated on with pathological confirmation were reported, with an incidence of 15.6%. There were 24 females and 111 males. The ages ranged 23—83 with a mean value of 58.7. There was no operative death.,The postoperative follow-up study casted for 1—21 years. Squamous cell carcinoma showed 43.7％, adenocarcinoma 20.0% and bronchioloalveolar carcinoma 25.9%. The 5-year su- rvival rate was 70.6%, 76.2% and 83.3％ respectively. The central cancer was 42.2％ and tne peripheral cancer was 57.8%. The 5-year survival rate was 64.7% and 83.0％ respectively. The multiple primary bronchogenic carcinoma was 6.7％ （9 patients）. The 5-year survival rate was 42.9%. The clinical of early bronchogenic carcinoma, early diagnosis, surgical treatment and multiple primary lung cancer are discussed.
