The activity cells of superantigen inducing are Th1 rather than Th2

Objective: A recent paper has described that T cell of responses to superantigens are CD₄⁺ T cells. Methods: We examined T cell subsets, such as Th1 and Th2. Results: SEB activated human peripheral blood T cells. The T cells release IL-2 without IL-4. Conclusion: The proliferous cells by SEB inducing are Th1 cells rather than Th2 cells.
