Analysis of 47 cases of chronic renal failure in the aged

The etiology of 47 aged patients with chronic renal failure （CRF） was analysed. The major causes of CRF included: nephrosclerosis （18/47, 38.2%）, chronic pyelonephritis （9/47, 19.1%）, chronic glomerulonephritis （8/47, 17%） and diabetis mellitus nephrosis （5/47, 10.6%）. The misdiagnosis in 13 patients （27, 7%） indicats that concommitant multi-organ disease may make the manefestation of CRF complicated.
