Abstract
This paper reported our eyperience on anaesthesia in severe aortic insufficiency accompanied by left ventricular failure. Diazepam-ketamine-fentanyl-isoflurane-pavolon composited anaesthesia seemed to be quite safe and effective. Blood pressure as well as pulse rate should be carefully controlled, to avoid blood pressure fluctuation and bradycardia. To prevent left ventricule from overloading, since the start of induction up to the time of extracorporeal circulation both preoperative assessment and adequate preparation should be carefully arranged.
