Effect of conventional military training on parameters of immune function and blood cells in military personnel

  • Objective To study the changes in parameters of immune function and blood cells during military training of military personnel. Methods Parameters of T,B and NK lymphocyte subpopulations were detected by cytometry and SYSMEX2100 in 50 military personnel after conventional military training. Results The number of CD3-CD19+ B lymphocyes was significantly higher while that of CD3-CD56+ NK lymphocytes was significantly lower after military training than before military training(P<0.01).The MCV levels of RBC,WBC and NEU were significantly higher while the level of lymphocytes was significantly lower after military training than before military training(P<0.05). Conclusion The humoral immune response ability of military personnel and their WBC and NEU levels are increased after military training.
