Abstract
The polypoid lesions of colon are the common gastrointertinal tract diseases in older persons. Successful management of them depends upon early diagnosis and proper treatment. The radiological appearances of 97 such lesions in 85 cases were analysed. One or two in one case with a diameter less than 4cm.Among the patients there were 80 males and 5 females. The range of age was from 60 to 80 years.
All cases were proved pathologically.Sigmoid, rectum, ascending colon, descending colon, transverse colon and cecum were involved in 34.1%,21.6%,16.5%,14.4%,10.3%,and 3.1% respectively.Discussion concerning the differences, between benign and maligment lesions and the clinic value of double contrast colonography, were made in the paper.
