Clinical investigation on Qingcheng pasta in treatment of 1381 cases with eczema

Objective: To investigate the effect of self-made prescription Qingcheng pasta in the treatment of 1 381 cases with eczema;Methods: 1 381 diagnosed patients with eczema were divided into two groups,889 cases in therapeutic group and 492 cases in the control.Dexamethasone cream was given to the control group and Qingcheng pasta was given to the therapeutic group at external application,twice a day.And two weeks as a treatment course.Results: The total effective rate in therapeutic group（97.4%） was significantly higher than that of control group（85.3%）,P＜0.05.After treatment,the score of itching degree and size of skin rash in both group improved significantly compared before treatment（P＜0.01）.The score of itching degree and size of skin rash in therapeutic group improved significantly compared with control group（P＜0.05）.Conclusion: Qingcheng pasta has already shown good results in the treatment of eczema in earthquake zone.
