Analysis of amount of ferritin in blood measured from 510 donors
Iron stores in the blood from 510 doners were evaluated by measuring the serum ferritin. The resulfs are as follows: iron-deficiency in 44.31% of all donors（40.79% in males and 50.54% in females）. It appears, therefore, essential to give ferrite persistetently to the donors who give their blood for a long period of time.
