Cardiogenic and Non-cardiogenic Sudden Death in Senile Patients （Report on 167 Cases of Autopsy）

945 cases of autopsy on senile patients during 1956—1991 in our hospital were analysed, including 167 cases of sudden death （106 male and 61 female）. Sudden was defined death according to the time of 1-hour, 6-hour and 24-hour when the sudden death occured at. Then the cause of death, the time relation of acute the attack and the sudden death, the sex and the age, the main pathological changes and pathogenic regularity were studied. The features of the cardiogenic and non-cadiogenic sudden death were discussed.
