Effect of Short-wave Ultraviolet Radiation on Pneumonia and Neutrophil Phagocytosis and IL-2 in Children

children with pneumonia were adjuvantly treated with UVC radiation on their loin-back skin,This observation showed that the duration of fever,cough and moist rale of the lung was significantly shorter than that of the control group（P＜0.01） Meanwhile,the chemilumine-scence method was used to determine the phagocytosis of neutrophil on both group.It showed that the neutrophil phagocytosis in treated group was also higher than that of the control patients（P＜0.05）,IL-2 was also determined.The value of IL-2 in treated group with UVC was lower than that of the control patients （P＜0.05）.The results and the mechanism were discussed in this paper.
