Diagnostic value of ultrasonography to endometriosis

Objective: To find out the diagnostic value of ultrasonography to endometriosis. Methods: To retrospectively analyse the results of ultrasonography of 90 cases who were finally diagnosed by laparoscopy before operation.And compare ultrasonography and gynecologic examination（bimanual examination and vagino-recto-abdominal examination）,findings during the operation,results of histopathology to definitely realize the diagnostic value of ultrasonography before operation. Results: There are 83 cases diagonosed by ultrasonography among 90 endometriosis cases,and 7 cases missed diagnosed,the accurate rate 92%（（83/90））.70 cases are endometriotic cyst or cysts of ovary or ovaris（49 cases on one ovary and 21cases on two ovarys）,the accurate rate 100%（70/70）.23 cases were diagnosed endometriosis only by abdominal ultrasonography among 30 cases of endometriosis,the accurate rate 77%（23/30）.60 cases were diagnosed endometriosis by vaginal ultrasonography or vaginal ultrasonography and abdominal ultrasonography,the accurate rate 100%（60/60）. Conclusion: Ultrasonography is a good method of mass suvey to diagnose endometriosis,especially endometriotic cyst or cysts of ovary or ovaries.It is also an accurately,safely,method without trauma.And we can observe the change of patient’s condition dynamically by it.
