Observations and treatment in 30 cases of intrathoracic sarcoidosis

The results of long-term follow-up observations for an average of 7.3 years（ranged from 6 months to 22 years）on 30 cases of intrathoracic sarcoidosis are reported.The course of the disease was more than 2 years in 90%（27/30）,and less than 2 years in 10%（3/30）.At the beginning of the observations,53.3%（16/30）of the patients were in their stage Ⅰ,36.7%（11/30）in stage Ⅱ,and 10%（3/30）in stage Ⅲ.But at the Last follow-up period,6 cases were in spontaneous remission,9 cases cured,6 cases were in stage Ⅱ and 9 cases in stage Ⅲ,without any case in stage Ⅰ or died.According to these results,the treatment of intrathoracic sarcoidosis is discussed.
