Abstract
Objective To discuss the arthroscopic repair of rotator cuff injury and intra-operative nursing of the patients. Methods Eighty-three patients were selected to under arthroscopic repair of their rotator cuff injury.Before operation,the necessary surgical equipments and instruments were sent to the operation room,the physical and mental conditions of patients were carefully evaluated.The patients were carefully nursed during operation.The operation time,satisfactory score of the surgeon,post-operative complications,time of hospital stay and satisfactory rate of the patients were recorded. Results The time of operation was 28-104 minutes(46.2±12.7).The satisfactory score of the surgeon was(52.6±4.9).The mean hospital stay time of patients was 3.2d.The satisfactory rate of patients was 100%.No complication correlated with the nursing of patients was found. Conclusion Careful evaluation of the conditions of patients,maintenance of equipments and instruments,and nursing of the patients by the nurses in operation room are the key to successful operation of rotator cuff injury.
