Stertotactic endoscopic operation on 30 brain lesions

Endoscopic operations were performed on 30 brain lesions with CT-guided stereotactic technique.The operation sincluded as followings:excision of brain tumor in 15 cases,extraction of cyst in 5,extirpation of foreign body in 4,extraction of abscess in 3,cautarization of choroid plexus for hydrocephalusin 2 and ex-traction of cerebral cysticerosis in 1.All lesions were located in deep bain or main functional area,including sellar area in 15 cases,cerebrum in 6,basal ganglion in 5,intraventricle in 2 and cerebellum in 2.Holmiumlaser was successfully used in the endoscopic operation. The effective rate was 96.7%,one month after the operation. There was no serious complications,such as coma,hemiparalysis,intracramial hematoma and infec-tion.
