TRANSPOSITION OF DEEP CIRCUMFLEX ILIAC VESSELS PEDICLE PERIOSTEUM OF ILIAC BONE AND COMPRESSION NAILING FOR OLD INTRACAPSULAR FRACTURES OF FEMORAL NECK

The old fractures of the femoral neck,the intracapsular variety in particular,still remains to be a difficult clinical problem.There are various methods of operations but the results are generallyunsatisfactory.Since Dec.1980 to Oct.1982,7 cases,aged 16-53 years,of old intracapsular fractures of the femoral neck have been treated by the tranposition of deep circumflex iliac vessels pedicle periosteum of lilac bone and compression nailing.Follow-up of these cases was made for 1.5 years,with good result.
