Luminescence Immunoassay of CSF MBP Autoantibodies in Demylinating Diseases

  • Luminescence immunoassay of CSF MBP autoantibodies in Demylinating disease is a new technique, and haven’t ever been reported in the past international literature from 1988.5—1990.3, we developed an assay method for autoantibodies angainst CSF MBP by coating solid phase with MBP and added luminescence substance Lumino to labelling sheep anti human IgG with ABEI. The contents of IgG and autoantibodies against MBP in CSF were calculated from the same standard curve of IgG. The results showed that CSF MBP autoantibodies contents in 36 Demylinating patients and 20 other CNS patients were 3.24±0.52 and 0.72 ± 0.16μg/mgIgG respectively (P<0.001). We suggest that this parameter is much more accurate than that of IgG for the differential diagnosis and determine the activity of Demylinating from other CNS diseases. The mechanism was also discussed in this paper.
