Cryopreserved fetal liver transplantation（CFLT）in a child with acute leukemia

In this article,a 6-year-old girl with APL（Aeute Promyeloeyte Leukemia,ANLL-M₃）who has been transplanted with cryopreserved fetal liver cells（CFLC）（14.18×10⁸/kg）from 6 Iivers of 16—24 week-old boy fetus in July 1986,alter a conditioning regimen CY 50mg/kg×2,DNR 20mg,TBI 5.1GY（0.05GY/min）,is reported.Her hemopoiesis and immunity recovered in d 39. Since d 14,there was definite evidence of engraftment by the presence of the Y chromosomes from those boy donors’ fetus from 4% down to 2%,on d 35 the XY/XX chimeras remained to be 2%.To our knowledge,this is the first case of CFLT successfully performd in our country.
