Verify the biological functions of ICAM-1-binding peptide

Objection:Verify the biological functions of ICAM-1-binding peptide which had been screen from phage-displayed random 15-peptide library. Methods: in vitro,to prove the target peptide conbines with ICAM-1 by ELISA analysis.In（vivo）,the target peptide was labeled with fluorescence and was injected in mouse inflammatory model bodys to orientate fluorescence by freezing tissues slices.Result:The target peptide combines with ICAM-1 related with concentration.The target peptide could accumulate toward ICAM-1 in vivo. Conclusion: The target peptide can conbine with ICAM-1 specially.It suggested that the target peptide might be used as the guiding peptide of "peptide guided drug" to inflammatory site with ICAM-1 expression in the future.
