Abstract
Objective: To construct N-terminal mutants of Id proteins into pcDNA3.1(+) vectors and propose the available three-dimensional protein structures.Methods: Amplifications were carried out with mutagenic primers,and then DNA products were ligated to achieve two points mutant sequences.Three-dimensional protein structures were obtained by Swiss-PdbViewer3.7(SP5) to compare the changes of protein structures.Results: The mutants of Id proteins were cloned into pcDNA3.1(+) vectors successfully,and the changes of their protein structures were predicted.Conclusion: N-terminal Mutants of Id proteins in pcDNA3.1(+) vectors are convenient tools for in-depth studies on the function of Id protein family.
