Cell culture and analysis of chromosome in fibroblasts from normal fetal skin and adult’s prepuce

The analysis of chromosome in 1033 cells from 23 normal feta skin and 903 cells from 9 adult’s prepuce was reported. Normal diploid cells occupied 92.7％ and 94.9％ respectively; hromosomal aberration rate was 7.25％ and 5.09％ respectively. There was no statistically ignificant difference between these two groups, when the data was compared with that we btained previously from the T-lymphocyte of peripheral blood, we found that the rate of normal iploid cells was a little lower in our group （97.48％ in T-lymphocyte group）, The result uggested that the analysis of chromosome of fibroblasts from normal fetal skin and adult’s repuce may be a supplemental method in making diagnosis for genetic diseases.
