Clinical analysis of complications of pneumonia in 240 elderly

Two hundred and forty cases of both primary pneumonia and that secondary to other diseases have been admitted into out hospital, dealt with the male 143 cases （59.6%） and female 97 cases （40.4%）. 38 cases died with a mortality rate of 15.8%. Various complications occurred in 124 cases （51.7%）, among which 76 cases （31.7%） suffered from two or more disturbances.
