Effect of taurine on immunity and swimming physical endurance in mice

Objective: To study the effects of Taurine on immunity and Swim tolerance of mice.Methods: The mice used for experiment were divided into three groups（almond juice,almond juice add Taurine and control）.After 14 days by gavage,The spleen-index,SRBC-DTH,HA,T lymphocyte stimulus index,B lymphocyte stimulus index and Swimming physical endurance were measured.Results: The result indicated that Taurine could enhance the level of HA and SRBC-DTH.It also could increase the spleen-index,B lymphocyte stimulus index and improve the swim tolerance of mice,but it had no effect on T lymphocyte stimulus index.Conclusion: Taurine can improve the immunity and Swimming physical endurance of mice.
