Expression of PAI-1 plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 in esophageal carcinoma

Objective: To detect the plasminogen activator inhibitor 1 （PAⅠ-1） gene expression in tissue of esophageal carcinoma.Methods: Quantitative reverse transcription polymophoase chain reaction （PT PCR） has been used to detect PAⅠ-1 gene expression.Results: The mRNA level of PAⅠ-1 in esophageal carcinoma is higher than those in nucosa tissue surrounding carcinoma.Conclusion: The level of PAⅠ-1 mRNA expression increases significantly in esophageal carcinoma tissues, the detection of PAⅠ-1 gene by RT PCR in esophageal carcinoma tissues may provid the new diagnosis methods for esophageal carcinoma.
