Reasons of 73 medical dispute cases

The reasons of 73 complaint cases occurred in our department during 2005-2009 were analyzed in this article. Results showed that complaints of patients against the service attitude of medical staff,insufficient data in reports,delayed examination and bedside visit,irrational charge and ineffective treatment accounted for 63.3%,22.0%,9.6%,2.7%,2.7%,and 2.7%,respectively.Medical quality can be improved and complaints of patients against medical staff can be decreased by carrying our effective reform and taking preventive measures.
