Abstract
Objective To study the imaging characteristics of cervical myoma and its diagnostic methods. Methods Diagnostic characteristics and value of B ultrasound and CT were evaluated by comparing the established diagnosis of cervical myomata at different sites according to a review of 44 cervical myoma patients admitted to our hospital in 2001-2008. Results The diagnostic rate of B ultrasound for cervical myoma was 70% and was the highest for submucous myoma.Four patients were diagnosed by a single CT.A case of large myoma weighing 3 000g was reported. Conclusion The value of B ultrasound for the diagnosis of cervical myoma is limited and it should be used in combination with CT.
