Nursing care can reduce badness effects of the vitrectomized senile patients who need prostrate position tamponaded with silicon oil or C₃F₈

Objective: To investigate the influence of nursing care on vitrectomized patients tamponade who needed keep prostrate positon.Methods: Consecutively vitrectomized 160 patients with tamponades were divided into from intervened group and control group randomly. Supervised position post operation and suitable position with adequate activity alternatively were introduced in intervened group, and blood pressure, appetite, limb activity were registered. Results: The condition of the intervened group post operation were better than that of the control group （P＜0.05）.Conclusion: Nursing care on vitrectomized senile patients who need prostrate position tamponade can further reduce the complication of vitrectomy, especially reduced the abnormal physical condition for those older than 60.
