Study of intrahepatic bile duct and biliary microcirculation in intrahepatic cholelithiasis

6 surgically resected liver specimens, sections stained with special stains and asts f microvasculature and bile ducts were observed under light microscope and SEM. Attention were aid to the peribiliary plexus （PBP）. Side branches of bile ducts increased markedly were ound. BP was much distorted and damaged in intrahepatic cholelithiasis, which resulting to weakening f defensive and repairative ability of the bile duct, forming the locus of minor resistance to nfection.
