Enlightenments from Journal of Chinese PLA Postgraduate Medical School covered by Research Center for Chinese Science Evaluation with grade A

Journal of Chinese PLA Postgraduate Medical School has been covered by Research Center for Chinese Science Evaluation（RCCSE） with grade A from April 2011 as a core Chinese academic journal due to its rapidly growing citations and impact factor achieved by the following measures taken its editorial department,such as soliciting contributions,increasing the publication number of papers and fund-supported papers,shortening the publication time of papers,and trying every possible effort to make the journal be covered in well-known domestic and foreign databases.A total of 1 273 journals were assessed as A+ and A in this evaluation meeting,accounting for 19.89% of the total Chinese academic journals（6 400）,of which Chinese PLA Postgraduate Medical School ranked the 19th among the 126 college and university journals and the 20th among the 194 general medical journals,which increased 39 in its rank compared to that in the last evaluation meeting.
