Treatment of rheumatoid arthritis with warm needling

This paper reports a systematic observation of both clinical therapeutic effects of warm needling on the rheumatoid arthritis （RA） and its influences on the indexes such as erythrocyte sedimentation rate （ESR）, C-reactive protein （CRP）,rheumatoid factor and immunoglobulin. The results showed that warm needling had good effects on RA with the total effective rate of 87.5%. some clinical signs and symptoms like morning rigor, arthrodynia, figures of tenderness and anthroncus were improved apparently after treatment, and the hands average grip strength increased （T test P ＜0.05）, CRP decreased obviously （ P ＞0.05）,while ESR、RF and Ig （A、G、M） changed without statistical significance （ P ＞0.05）.
