Improved Suprabubic Prostatectomy-report of 192 Cases

This paper reports the most popular operation in urological field, supradbubic prostatectomy. and deals with the method how to reduce the volume of bleeding and the complication as well as its treatment, the important procedures are the continuous suture of the edge of prostatic fossa and mattress suture of some abnormal bleeders. In 192 patients, the average volume of bleeding is 144ml and of blood transfusion 112 ml to avoid the postoperative spasmodic pain of bladder, we injected a little morphine intraepidurally through the catheter of epidural anesthesia and got a good result, no complication.
