Histopathological analysis of testicular biopsy in azoospermic males

Testicular biopsy has been widely used for the diagnosis of male infertility. In this paper, through the histopathological analysis of 30 azoospemic male cases, a classification of pathological changes of the testicular biopsies material by light microscopy is presented: （1）esscntially normal; （2）Slight hypospermatogenesis; （3） moderate hypospermatogenesis; （4） Severe hypospermatogensis. A close relationship between the hypospermatogenesis and the small blood vascular changes was shown in the result. It is indicated that the thickness, fibrosis and hyalinization of the small blood vessel vascular wall plays an important role in the pathogenesis of hypospermatogenesis.
