Stepwise Regression Analysis of the Results of the Velopharyngeal X-ray Anatomy Structures

We treat our measuring data of X-ray anatomy structures of tbe velopharyngeal area with statistical method of step regression analysis, and try to find the relation of each composition of the velopharyngeal area The results indicate that there is a very close relation between forword and backward movement of the maxilla and change of pharyngeal depth. And the position of anterior tubercle of atlas has some influence over pharyngeal depth.
