Abstract
Objective To study the normal reference values of parameters in saliva of healthy servicemen at high altitude areas. Methods Subjects were divided into 3 700m group,4 300m group,4 500m group,5 300m group and plain control group(1 400m group).Biochemical parameters were detected in saliva samples with high performance liquid chromatogram(HPLC). Results The levels of biochemical parameters in saliva increased with the increasing altitude.Except for Mg2+ and K+,the levels of other biochemical parameters in saliva were significantly higher in 5 300m group than in plain control group(P<0.05). Conclusion The normal reference values of different parameters in saliva are initially established, which may provide reference for working out criteria for the training of servicemen at high altitude areas.
