Construction of three-dimensional computer models of acetabular bone defect and special prostheses

Objective: To Construction of three-dimensional model of acetabular bone defect and revision implant. Methods: A 3D pelvic model was constructed by Unigraphics18.0 software based on CT data of healthy individual. Acetabular bone defect had been created artificially as well as 3D revision implant model with the help of Unigraphics software.Results: Integral 3D models was constructed by combining pelvic unit with different implants.Conclusion: Next study is to simulate biomechanical stress upon acetabulum and to perform finite element analysis and obtain optimum status of implant.
