Measurement of mangiferin level in Jianyu tangkang tablets with HPLC-UV

  • Objective To establish the quality control method of Jianyu tangkang tablets. Methods HPLC-UV was used to measure the mangiferin level in Jianyu tangkang tablets on a C18-ODS column (250mm×4.6mm, 5μm) at the mobile phase of acetonitrile and water (12∶88, pH=2.85), with a detection wavelength of 258nm, a flow rate of 0.8ml/min, and a column temperature of 30℃. Results A good linear relationship was observed when the mangiferin level was 3.9-390μg/ml(r=0.999 9). The average recovery rate of samples was 97.718%(RSD=0.92%). Conclusion HPLC-UV is a simple, rapid, accurate, and sensitive method, which can effectively control the quality of Jianyu tangkang tablets.
