Relapsing Polychondritis Associated with Diabetes Mellitu——Case Report and Literature Peview

A 36-year-old man with relapsing polychondritis（RP ）associated with non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus（NIDDM） was presented.His clinical picture was characterized bymulti-system involvement,namely:chondritis of the ear and nose,ocular inflammation, completeloss of hearing, impaired vision,polyarthralgia, multiple cerebral infarcts in addition to diabetesmellitus.The clinical manifestations,diagnostic criterian and treatment of RPwere discussed.Three other previous cases of RP were mentioned.
