Knowledge about aerosol inhalation spray therapy in nurses

Objective To investigate the knowledge about aerosol inhalation spray therapy in nurses. Methods Knowledge about aerosol inhalation spray therapy in 118 nurses of Emergency Department and Departments of Clinical Medicine in South Building was investigated with self-designed questionnaire. Results The knowledge about aerosol inhalation spray therapy in the nurses was not so good,but was better in nurses working in Department of Respiratory Diseases than in those working in other Departments of Clinical Medicine（P＜0.05）,and significantly poorer in junior nurses with less than 5 years of nursing experience than in those with more than 5 years of nursing experience（P＜0.05）. Conclusion Nurses working in different departments of clinical medicine except in department of respiratory diseases and junior nurses should be trained in aerosol inhalation spray therapy and encouraged to participate in clinical practice of it.
