The change of myocardial perfusion and metabolism after TMLR and intramyocardial administration of VEGF165 cDNA

  • Objective: To determine the change of myocardial perfusion and metabolism after TMLR combined intramyocardial administration of VEGF165C DNA. Methods: The 48 dogs were rand omly divided into 4 groups(n=12),fake group,myocardial infarction、T MLR and T MLR+VEGF165cDNA group.Regional myocardial perfusion and metabolism were detected with postron emission tomography. Results: the amount of perfusion and intake of FDG of anterial、anterial lateral and anterial septum of left vetricular wall in T MLR +VEGF165cDNA group are larger than that in T MLR group after six weeks and twelve weeks. Conclusion: a quantity of viable myocardium are striking increase and /or function of viable myocardium are striking recovery after T MLR and intramyocardial administration of VEGF165cDNA.
