Operation and follow-up of traumatic subdural hygroma

Objective: To investigate the mechanism, clinical features and treatment of traumatic subdural hygroma. Methods: 145 cases were treated with different surgical technigues. Results: All of them were followed-up for 1～5 years.The total effective rate was 92.4%. 5 patients died, the mortality was 3.4%. Conclusion: Although the operative management of TSH was relative simple, we must make a point of electing the adequate operative time and using various effective post-operative treatment.
